Believed to have been lost in a bygone era, this spell was recovered from ruins infested by horrific creatures of unknown origin. The scroll is still steeped with parasitic organisms. |

Notes
This is the first and only spell to have a parametric shot pattern. When fired, the shots revolve erratically around the point of casting for a few seconds, dealing damage to the first enemy that they touch. Their lingering and ultimately converging nature gives it higher accuracy, especially against stationary bosses or ones with predictable patterns (like Son of Arachna or Archdemon Malphas). By spamming the spell in the path of the boss, you can lure them into “minefields” of shots to incur large amounts of damage.
This spell fires few shots, which make it much better against high DEF. It outdamages the T6 Elemental Detonation Spell at 38 DEF. The added statboosts (+4 DEX, +2 ATT) only further the advantage. Even against otherwise superior UT spells, the offensive stats let the Para spell eventually overcome most others in long-term DPS.
The reworked Penetrating Blast Spell deals very similar damage/mana. Against single targets, this spell should always outdamage due to the +4 DEX. In exchange, Penetrating Blast the advantage of piercing enemies, as well as a more consistent pattern. The Penetrating spell also comes with +40 HP instead of -20 HP and +2 DEF. However, it comes from a harder dungeon and requires legendary forge material to craft.
As of The ancient’s curse battle pass you can get a reskinned variation called Cobra Serpentis Scroll from an ancient chest. Please revise this article if you have the time and sprite for it.
